Four members of the same family were horrifically injured after a car ran them over in Grenoble, France on Saturday night. Horrific video footage from the eastern city, just an hour away from Lyon, showed the aftermath of the accident. A young woman was said to be the worst injured and 'fighting for her life' after being hit first. Two others were also in intensive care, while a fourth was 'extremely badly injured,' a spokesman for local emergency services said.

A village café that may hold the key to finding the killer of a British woman in south west France has reopened – exactly a month after the savage murder. Karen Carter, 65 and a married mother of four, was found dead outside her home in Trémolat, east of Bordeaux, following a night out with friends on April 29th. The Café Village, where she worked part time behind the bar along with an alleged secret lover, was immediately 'shut indefinitely'.

A car was today set alight by a gang of youths after driving into football fans celebrating Paris Saint-Germain's victory over Arsenal in the French capital. The horrific aftermath was captured on video and shown on social media in the early hours of Thursday following the Champions League semi-final game a few hours earlier. Hooded French youths wearing Paris Saint Germain (PSG) shirts were reportedly also seen fighting with riot police on the Champs Elysée, and on nearby streets.
