Paul Skenes is on the mound for the 14th time in the 2025 season on Sunday as the Pittsburgh Pirates host the Philadelphia Phillies in their series finale. The Phillies have lost four games in a row, slipping to 3.5 games back of the New York Mets in the AL East standings. On Sunday, they’re set as underdogs against Skenes, who held them to just one run in eight innings back on May 18. Can the Pirates ace turn in another dominant performance?

Sunday’s Major League Baseball action features a loaded slate that will conclude with the series finale between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox – the best rivalry in baseball. The two storied franchises split the first two games of their three-game set, but the Yanks will have one of their top pitchers in lefty Carlos Rodon on the mound for the series finale.

Who doesn’t love a home-run bet to close out the weekend? On Sunday, all 30 MLB teams are in action, and I’ve narrowed things down to three sluggers that I love to go deep. Back on June 5, yours truly went a smooth 3-for-3 in home run picks, and now I’m back and looking to continue the momentum for Sunday’s action. New York Mets slugger Francisco Lindor is worth a look on Sunday against the lowly Colorado Rockies, and there is a Toronto Blue Jays starter that is a must fade today as well.

Dallas Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers has not played since May 29 after being placed in concussion protocol by the team. However, it appears that the star guard is ready to make her return to the lineup after a three-game absence. Bueckers is listed as probable for Sunday's Commissioner's Cup matchup with the Minnesota Lynx. This is great news for the Wings, who are just 1-8 in the 2025 season and 0-3 with Bueckers out of the lineup.

Sunday’s WNBA action features a pair of Commissioner’s Cup matchups, as the Connecticut Sun take on the Washington Mystics and the Dallas Wings host the Minnesota Lynx. Dallas has just one win in the 2025 season, but it is expected to get Paige Bueckers (concussion protocol) back in the lineup on Sunday. She’s officially listed as probable. In the East, the Sun are coming off a win in their last game against the Atlanta Dream, moving them to 1-1 in Commissioner's Cup play.

How Carlisle hasn’t gone back to McConnell is beyond me

Jalen Williams coronation

Tyrese Haliburton has been awesome this postseason. He also has these single-digit clunker games more than anyone I can remember in the convo for being a top-10 player.
