The Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza is hosting, from 19 October 2024 to 19 January 2025, the first retrospective of the New York painter Peter Halley in Spain since 1992. It is a selection of twenty large-format paintings from Spanish collections that cover the artist's career from 1985 to 2024 and where his evolution over the years can be observed.

1 INTRODUCTION Biopolymer films stem from renewable natural sources and are commonly non-toxic materials. These films offer a protective layer for food, presenting some resistance to physical damage and serving as a shield against oxygen and moisture.1 They contribute to achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) by reducing plastic pollution and enhancing sustainability in producing and consuming goods and services (SDG12).
