    AMERICAN FORK, Utah — A young girl and an adult man are recovering after a driver hit them while riding an electric moped. But both are doing “better than [first responders] anticipated,” according to a first responder.     SALT LAKE CITY — Utahns are reporting more tornadoes than usual, but the number of actual tornado occurrences is not going up. KSL Meteorologist Kevin Eubank said the state is bucking a national increase of tornadoes hitting areas outside “Tornado Alley,” including the southeast United States.
