Auburn football lost another defensive back to the transfer portal Saturday, the fourth since spring practice ended. Sophomore corner Tyler Scott is the latest to enter the portal, he confirmed to AL.com Saturday. On3 was first to report the news. Scott missed the 2024 season after suffering an ACL injury last summer. He entered the portal last spring, but eventually returned to Auburn. Scott saw action in four regular-season games plus the Music City Bowl in 2023.

Auburn basketball landed another big man in the transfer portal, gaining a commitment from Emeka Opurum Wednesday morning. The 7-footer out of Butler Community College averaged 9.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. He was also named the KJCC Defensive Player of the Year. Opurum now becomes Auburn’s second JUCO transfer of this cycle, joining high-scoring guard Abdul Bashir out of Casper College in Wyoming.
