WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Crash investigators with Winston-Salem Police continue to look into a Thursday night incident involving an 18-wheeler and a Toyota Camry. The crash happened on US-52 south at Rams Drive, around 7:15 p.m.Officials report that the truck, driven by John Huff, was driving south on US-52 and passing under the US-421 interchange. At this time, the Toyota, driven by Yi Won Yang, made contact with the truck and got stuck under its trailer.

MEBANE, N.C. — Around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Mebane Police were called to reported gunshots heard near West Lee Street and South First Street. After arriving on scene, officers say they found a vehicle with a seriously injured juvenile inside. A firearm was also recovered, with early investigation showing that the weapon was accidentally fired, causing the injury. Forensic evidence showed that a single gunshot went off from inside the vehicle.

Wilson is described as a 40-year-old Black man, roughly 5’9” tall and 260 lbs. Police say that Wilson has a shaved head and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and brown shoes on the 3800 block of Heather View Lane. Wilson is believed to be traveling on foot, and is known to have a cognitive impairment.
