    A squad of 15 Chichester Runners athletes made quite an impression at the Sussex Track and Field Championships at Crawley – with virtually every success coming in the junior age groups. There were personal best performances galore with the majority of the team taking advantage of their successful winter, both in cross country and also sportshall athletics.

Each year Apple tries to entice us to upgrade with new features such as a better camera with more lenses, faster processors, new materials, and better screens. And for many years many of us would upgrade every 2 years to gain some great new features.

    Throughout my career in product development I’ve used Asian resources to supplement the work being done in the U.S. to bring new consumer tech products to market more quickly. When I worked at Polaroid in the 80s designing cameras, I used companies in Japan that were expert in optics to develop some cameras I designed. And years later when I was at Apple in the 90s, I led the development of the Newton using resources in Taiwan. That was the first time Apple developed a product from scratch in Asia.

A full squad of 25 athletes excelled themselves to finish equal second with Horsham Blue Star, with only host club Crawley AC ahead at the end of the match and leaving East Grinstead, Worthing and Haywards Heath trailing in their wake.
