    A child has died after a minibus overturned on a motorway slip road in Berkshire today (Sunday, May 11). The single-vehicle crash happened on the M4 eastbound junction 10 exit slip road onto the A329M, near Wokingham. In a post on X, Thames Valley Police said: "Sadly, a child died in the collision and our thoughts remain with the family who are being supported at this extremely difficult time. Other passengers sustained serious injuries, requiring hospital treatment.

    Police cordon in place as man arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harmA police cordon is in place after a man was assaulted and seriously injured in Bristol on Saturday evening (May 10). A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital following the incident in Castle Park with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Police and the ambulance service had been called to Union Street in the Broadmead area of Bristol at around 6.54pm.

    A crash saw all traffic held on the M4 near Bristol this evening (Saturday, May 10). The crash happened on the eastbound carriageway at around 6pm. Motorists were brought to a standstill for around 15 minutes before being released. One lane remains closed and there is slow traffic in the area. Traffic and travel site Inrix said: "Slow traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M4 Eastbound from J20 M5 J15 (Almondsbury Interchange) to J19 M32 (Bristol).
