He remains at large following the second incident, during which he fled from officers in a vehicle believed to be stolen from a used car lot in Las Vegas. Evan Cox, 42, of Denver, is charged with two counts of possession of stolen vehicles, and another felony for aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer.

As they continue to assert their dominance as the best team in Class 3A for the second year in a row, the West Las Vegas Lady Dons softball team took another step this past weekend, dominating their home tournament en route to a championship. In three games, West Las Vegas defeated Taos 12-7, Capitan 11-1 and Ruidoso 12-0 to claim first place. The Lady Dons improved to 9-1 so far this season.
