Patricia Hyde, field director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston, said the surge led to the arrests of 1,461 people who are not lawfully present. Of those, 277 faced removal orders issued by an immigration judge.

Investigators are looking into the death of a woman whose body was discovered Sunday in a wooded area of Milton, Massachusetts. The body of Adriana Suazo, 21, was found at 11:45 a.m. by a passerby near 143 Central Ave., according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.While the DA's office said there were no obvious signs of trauma, the case is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and the Milton Police.

Boston officials are planning to launch a new nighttime food truck program targeting sites near the city's universities, nightlife and hospitals. Mayor Michelle Wu's office announced that the Late Night Food Truck Program will be organized by the Office of Nightlife Economy. Food truck proprietors will be asked to sign up for an online location lottery by Wednesday, and the lottery will be held Friday afternoon. Locations will be announced to the public after the lottery, officials said.

A third man was arrested Friday in connection with the January shooting of a 16-year-old girl in Easton, Massachusetts, police said.The girl, who was shot in the face at an apartment on Jan. 14, survived the attack but suffered significant injuries. Antonio Fonseca, 19, of Brockton, was indicted earlier this week on the charges of assault and battery with a firearm, armed robbery, carrying a firearm without a license and possession of a large capacity firearm.
