The Richland Rangers 19U girls' hockey team suffered a close one-goal loss Sunday morning versus the top-ranked Hazen NorthStars despite doubling up Hazen 34-17 in shots-on-goal. Richland overwhelmingly won the shot battle, but Hazen’s net minder excelled in limiting Ranger goals while the NorthStar offense excelled in taking advantage of its limited scoring opportunities.
