Marvel is continuing the Spider-Girl craze by giving the new character her own solo comic storyline. Written by Torunn Gronbekk with art by Andrew Risso, the comic is coming straight out of the pages of Dan Slott and Paco Media’s Spider-Boy, kicking off with some brand-new adventures starting this June. The comic will go over Spider-Girl’s origins and backstory and will reveal some new unseen mutant abilities. It’ll take place after her fallout with Bullseye.

Marvel Comics has revealed Spider-Girl is getting her own series in June, and it’s the brand-new Spider-Girl who made her debut in the pages of Spider-Boy. Created by Dan Slott and Paco Medina, writer Torunn Grønbekk writes the series with artist André Risso. “Spider-Girl a blast—joyful, irreverent, mischievous, and righteous. Leaving Bullseye behind, she’s starting fresh in New York, exploring her new home and embracing her powers with fearlessness and a touch of innocence,” Grønbekk explained.
