Mass of Christian Burial for Gary E. Wagner, age 68, of Creighton, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Reverend James Keiter will be celebrant, with burial in St. Ludger Catholic Cemetery in Creighton. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church, with a 6:00 p.m. Wake Service followed by a Rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Rosary. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton is in charge of arrangements.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Brady Bohlender, a remarkable soul who left us too soon at the age of 24. Brady was born to Rick and Melody Bohlender in Westminster, Colorado, on June 15, 1999. At the age of three Brady, and his family left Colorado and moved to Gordon Nebraska, where he would reside for the next 16 years. Brady then attended the University of Northern Colorado. Growing up on a farm/ranch, he developed a love for nature and animals.

Robert (Bob) Leroy Moore was born in Gordon, Nebraska to Mr. Charles Leo Moore and his wife, Mabel Helen (Wamsley) Moore, on 13 July 1933. He passed away December 15, 2023, at Gordon Countryside Care. He was the youngest of six children born to the Moore family. The Moore family has the distinction of being tied to the Van Buskirk’s, one of the founding families of Gordon. Bob attended Gordon Elementary and graduated from Gordon High School in 1951.

Patricia Ann Speer, 89, of Loveland CO passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 following a long term illness. She was born July 22, 1934 to the late Lloyd and Mabel (Tiensvold) Talbot. She graduated from Rushville High School. During her High School years she worked as a secretary for attorney Ed Holstein. Pat married Wayne Speer on August 31, 1952. Shortly thereafter they moved to Cheyenne where Wayne was stationed at Warren Air Force Base.

Margaret Salisbury passed away November 14, 2023 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska. She was born to Bennett and Frieda (Pfisterer) Robins in Rushville, Nebraska on May 2, 1925. She spent her childhood at the family ranch along with siblings, Hope, Clifford and Leonard. After graduating from high school she ventured to Denver, Colorado where she worked in a munitions factory until the end of WWIL She married Robert G. Whaley and to this union daughter, Gloria Jean was born.
