SCOOP SMITHWoodland HillsRecently: Smith, a junior sprinter from Woodland Hills, competed in his first track meet of the season after dealing with a lingering hamstring issue for most of the spring. In his first competition back, Smith took first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.78 seconds. He did not compete in the 200-meter race. Check this out: Woodland Hills coach Paul Beard said seeing the “hard-working young man” come back and win the 100 with conviction was a great feeling.
