INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis family remembers their loved one shot and killed in a domestic violence incident over the weekend. Sapanna Harris-Williams was the oldest sibling. "She was a person. She was a woman. She was a mother. She was a sister, a daughter. She meant a lot to a lot of people and the fact that she was taken away from us wasn't right," said Doris Middleton. Doris Middleton loved her big sister Sapanna Harris-Williams. On Saturday, Sapanna was shot and killed on Indy's southwest side.

SPEEDWAY, IN — It's May which means it's race time in Indianapolis. The green flag is flying, welcoming Indy car drivers and race fans from across the country to the town of Speedway and central Indiana. INDIANAPOLIS — There's a new way to travel to the AMP at 16 Tech from downtown Indy and nearby communities. "It really is more than just a bridge," said Emily Kreuger, President and CEO of the 16 Tech Community Corporation. It's a new connector off West 10th Street and Riley Hospital Drive. Krueger said this new opening is literally bridging the gap between the medical corridor, west side neighborhoods, and downtown.

INDIANAPOLIS — A balanced state budget is headed to Indiana Governor Mike Braun's desk after lawmakers ended the 2025 session early Friday morning. Balancing the budget comes at a cost to many state programs. Indiana's Health First program, which provides health resources for all 92 counties. It's budget saw cuts to the tune of $60 million — $100 million now down to $40 million. "My big message is that I think we're in trouble," said Indiana Public Health Association CEO Marc McAleavy.
