Corps members say, the site is now "offishally" open, with a complete set-up to prep your fish. The Army Corps has also released their list of camp sites soon opening for the season.

MURPHYSBORO, Ill., (WSIL) -- The City of Murphysboro continues their track to a bike path. On Wednesday, March 26, the group held a meeting to review plans and make suggestions. The city is working with Greater Egypt Regional Planning and Development Council, as well as Klingner & Associates, to make the bike plan as usable and community friendly as possible. Mayor Will Stephens says there was a good turnout for the meeting, with engineering drafts available for public viewing.

MISSOURI (WSIL) -- Beginning Tuesday, March 25, residents impacted by the March 14th and 15th storms will see resources move into their communities. On Tuesday, several multi-agency resource centers, otherwise known as MARCs, will go up across the state. Governor Mike Kehoe says these MARCs will provide a central location for local and state agencies to answer questions, provide information and officer disaster relief. If you've been impacted, you can go to any of the MARCs, at any location.

It's the 2025 Maple Syrup Festival, at Southern Illinois University's Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center, and it's happening the weekend of March 22-23.
