Earlier this month, CBP officers in Allentown seized four shipments of counterfeit brand-name skin creams and Sharpie pens worth nearly $30,000. The first international shipments arrived on Feb. 26.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of throwing rocks and cracking windows of the District Attorney's Office near City Hall. It happened around 1 a.m. on Jan. 27 outside the office, located at 3 South Penn Square. Video shows the man throwing rocks at the building, which shattered the front glass door and cracked two windows, police said.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - The region is bracing for another bout of cold weather. Officials in Montgomery County extended a Code Blue advisory through Feb. 5, and Camden County, New Jersey issued a Code Blue for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1 and 2. Other counties are likely to follow. After Friday's freezing rain clears out, a cold front is expected to pass through, making weekend conditions colder and windy, the National Weather Service said.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Drexel University has tapped Antonio Merlo, an accomplished scholar, political economist and former Penn faculty member, to serve as its next president. John Fry, Drexel's past president of 14 years, was chosen in July 2024 to lead Temple University. Denis P. O'Brien was named Drexel's interim president while the college looked for a permanent replacement. Merlo will begin his tenure this summer, becoming Drexel's 16th president in its 133-year history.
