    CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A dead dog was found in Cleveland’s Corlett neighborhood, police confirmed, and detectives need help figuring out how the poor pup was injured. The Cleveland Division of Police said Fourth District officers got the call at approximately 7:22 a.m. on May 29 for a dog that was allegedly shot. Police said the dog was found in the 15000 block of Edgewood Avenue. Officers arrived to find the dog was already dead after suffering an injury, according to police.

On May 16, Cleveland Fire Cadet Symeon Williams was performing physical training at the end of the academy’s fifth week when he suffered a medical emergency. Cleveland Fire and EMS paramedics immediately began lifesaving measures, and Williams was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he died. He was 39.
