    WOOSTER, Ohio (WOIO)—A mobile home was flattened Wednesday morning after a contractor hit a gas line while installing fiber optic cables at a mobile home park in Wooster. The explosion happened around 1130am at Shelmar Mobile Home Park, on Mechanicsburg Road. Judie White lives across the street from the home and was told she had to evacuate her home before the explosion. “Thank God it wasn’t me, that’s honest,” White said.

Ashtabula County deputies announced the arrest of a suspect in the death of 24-year-old Jeannette Ralston, who was found dead in her Volkswagen Beetle in 1977. The Ashtabula County sheriff said 69-year-old Willie Eugene Sims was arrested and charged with murder.
