There has been an unusual amount of optimism around the Giants this offseason. They finally upgraded at quarterback. They even found one for the future. They also spent a lot of money on their defense and then landed the best defensive player in the draft. It all points to a better team in 2025 and a brighter future for the embattled duo of coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen. At least it would if the Giants didn't have the NFL's most difficult schedule in 2025.

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! The 1972 Miami Dolphins know that at some point, every year, they’ll get to pop their champagne. The fall of the NFL’s last unbeaten team each season has become inevitable. Sometimes it takes a while, like in 2007 when the New England Patriots' first loss came in Super Bowl XLVI. The reality is that everything has gone far too right for far too long with the defending Super Bowl champions.

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! When Brian Daboll was hired as offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills in 2018, he inherited a raw, erratic, young quarterback and one of the worst offenses in the league. By the time he left, the Bills were an offensive juggernaut and Josh Allen was an All-Pro and MVP runner-up. That’s the primary reason the New York Giants hired him to be their head coach in 2022.

The Steelers finally landed Aaron Rodgers, but can this really work? He’s an odd fit for an Arthur Smith scheme and his new team isn’t exactly loaded on offense. Here’s a look at how A-Rod fits into Smith’s system and with his new supporting cast: https://t.co/PLXGmcLQdV https://t.co/o5m9leV9xP
