Jerrad Barczyszyn is a four-year varsity bowler and this year’s 5A boys’ individual state champion, as well as a Shadow Ridge valedictorian whose weighted GPA is at the school district cap of 4.95. He volunteers at the pro shop at Red Rock Lanes, his home alley, where he enjoys helping out novice bowlers. His parents are teachers. “They’ve always pushed me and they’ve taught me how to push myself,” he said.
