This will be Jennifer Sime’s eighth Mother’s Day without her first child and only son. ”His teacher noticed that he was kind of having unusual staring spells and just kind of odd movements with his mouth and such so she notified the nurse and the nurse notified us,” Sime said. Her son, Brendan Numedahl of Decorah, was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was in fourth grade.

Tickets to the game sold out in less than an hour back in February. It’s hard to miss the big Hawkeye logo on Rosa Bennett’s driveway in Marion, but it’s easy to see she’s a Caitlin Clark superfan. She painted her driveway with poster paint.
