Justice Dallas Miller, who presided over the judge-only trial, said he agreed with the defense that the case was “truly unique” because Belyea’s daughters appeared to want eligibility sooner rather than later.

Cole Hosack was last seen near the Lonestar Bar in Dawson Creek just after midnight on Jan. 1st. Hosack was scheduled to leave on Jan.5 for Medicine Hat where he had secured new employment. He never showed.

But it’s urging Albertans to continue conserving energy between peak hours of 4 to 7 p-m as extreme cold persists across Western Canada. The operator issues the warnings to reduce the possibility of serious measures to balance the system, including rotating power outages.

The suspect gained access to the home through an attached garage. About 10-thousand dollars worth of items were stolen from the garage. The suspect fled the home after being spotted by the homeowner. Medicine Hat Police were unable to comment Thursday on active break and enter cases.
City Committee to review application to redevelop former Michaels Motel

A company called DesignTech Engineering Limited has submitted an application to turn the Michael’s Motel site into an apartment building. The company is proposing a single storey complex with three buildings. There would be 13 units consisting of studio and one bedroom suites.
