Justice Dallas Miller, who presided over the judge-only trial, said he agreed with the defense that the case was “truly unique” because Belyea’s daughters appeared to want eligibility sooner rather than later.

Cole Hosack was last seen near the Lonestar Bar in Dawson Creek just after midnight on Jan. 1st. Hosack was scheduled to leave on Jan.5 for Medicine Hat where he had secured new employment. He never showed.

But it’s urging Albertans to continue conserving energy between peak hours of 4 to 7 p-m as extreme cold persists across Western Canada. The operator issues the warnings to reduce the possibility of serious measures to balance the system, including rotating power outages.
