Late singer/songwriter, Mac Miller; the artist of well known songs, “Good News,” “Best Day Ever,” and “The Spins” estate released a retrospective album “Balloonerism” on Jan. 27. Although this may be a “new” album for most listeners, it isn’t new at all. “Balloonerism” was made very early on in Miller’s career but ultimately was left unfinished for reasons that were unknown but one could say substantial for the late artist and his art.

Disney recently released “Moana 2” in theaters on Nov. 22 setting the Thanksgiving holiday off on a fun note. Like the first movie, “Moana 2” takes place in the Polynesian Islands. The main character Moana goes out to explore new islands in hopes of finding connections to her people and the ocean. In the first movie, it is only her and Maui; a demigod she meets who helps her during her travels to restore the heart of Te Fiti.

The BC men’s basketball team won their home game against Santa Barbara Nov. 19, with the final score of 69-59. The game started and within the first couple of minutes BC was eager and ready. Forward Ollie Fell, went to shoot a 3- point shot, but unfortunately missed. Fell’s miss didn’t discourage him, because later in between these couple of minutes, he made a layup that then put the first score on the board, 2-0. BC was able to keep their momentum up and scored 6 points within four minutes.

Part two of season four of the Netflix original television series, “Outer Banks” was recently released, and the question is: is the show falling off or getting back on track? After the first part of the season, fans were left wondering what direction the show was going in. For those who haven’t watched the show, it is based in Outer Banks, North Carolina where a group of friends put themselves in danger throughout the series to hunt for various treasures.

To wrap up the end of the regular season, BC women’s soccer achieved their last win with the final score of 1-0 on Nov. 15 against West LA. BC was alert and ready to take on anything coming their way and dominated their offense. They took many shots to the goal during the first half but ultimately nothing made it in, at first, but this didn’t stop them from continuing to try. West LA came close to scoring by a shot from Naomi Valtierra but luckily for BC, the goal was not able to be made.
