"This is fun," said granddaughters Carmen and Ellie as they carefully dipped marshmallows stuck on long bamboo skewers into a solution of food coloring last week. They were getting ready for their annual dyeing of eggs for Easter at the home of their mother, our daughter Katie, in Corona. Then why were they dyeing puffy jumbo marshmallows, instead of hard-boiled eggs? Have you seen the high price for a dozen eggs lately?
