Change is coming to security at Mars Area School District. The district is ending its longtime contract with Adams Township police. Six people and two organizations are accused of taking tickets obtained for free through a local nonprofit and reselling them. The organization involved here is called Tickets for Kids. It’s a non-profit based in Blawnox that works with other non-profits to give low-income kids tickets to sporting events and places like museums. Pennsylvania State Police tell us the investigation covers the last five years, but the fraud could’ve been longer than that.

Neighbors in Bon Air are still dealing with a lack of power and a mess in their neighborhood. Trees, lines and poles are still down a full week after powerful storms rocked the region. “Just trying to be level-headed and know that everyone is working toward getting it fixed,” Ryan Cavanaugh said. WILKINSBURG, Pa. — The widespread power outages are really hurting a group of seniors at a local high-rise. The Douglas Plaza Apartment complex in Wilkinsburg houses hundreds of people. Residents tell Channel 11 they’ve been forgotten. “You have two buildings here with probably 600 or more residents and half of them are disabled,” Brandi Whitecloud said. She was there to pick up her mother. “My mom has arthritis, so she cannot physically get out unless she’s on an elevator,” she said.

My stance has always been, if they let Rose and Jackson in, let the steroid guys in, too. It's either a celebration of the game's entire history, warts and all, or there are ethical clauses. It can't really be both.
