PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in a well-known veteran quarterback. According to NFL.com, the Steelers are signing 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers to a one-year deal before minicamp kicks off next week. The team has been in talks with Rodgers for months. He even visited Pittsburgh at the end of March, but left without a contract after meeting with Omar Khan, Mike Tomlin and Arthur Smith. Throughout free agency, Rodgers was reportedly also in contact with the Giants and Vikings.

MCKEESPORT, Pa. — There’s a large police presence in McKeesport after a body was found in a creek. Allegheny County 911 officials tell Channel 11 that emergency crews were sent to the 4200 block of Walnut Street around 7:30 p.m.Officials on scene have since confirmed that a body was found over a hillside.

A man’s body was found in a McKeesport creek on Wednesday evening. Allegheny County 911 officials tell Channel 11 that emergency crews were sent to near Walnut Street and Long Run Road around 7:30 p.m.SEE PHOTOS FROM THE SCENE Officials on scene later confirmed to us that a body was found over a hillside. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man on Thursday morning as 60-year-old Jeffrey McKenzie.

No charges will be filed in connection with a crash involving a dirt bike that took the life of a 15-year-old boy. The crash between a dirt bike and an SUV happened on April 14 at the intersection of West Chestnut and Washington Street. The teenager riding the dirt bike, Jonathan Gillespie, 15, was flown to Children’s Hospital, but later died of the injuries he sustained in the crash.
