For over 20 years, the annual Frostbite 10K/5K races and polar plunge have been staples of the holiday season for thousands of people from across Middle Tennessee. This year’s event took place at the Sumner County YMCA on Saturday, Dec. 28 under cloudy skies and unseasonably mild temperatures. Over 300 runners and walkers participated in the races, with some vying for medals, some looking for a little family fun and still others looking to burn off a few yuletide calories.
