LAKE STEVENS — Penn Cove Brewing Company, a local brewery with two locations on Whidbey Island and one in Lake Stevens, has closed its doors permanently. As of Monday, all three locations had shut down, Penn Cove announced Saturday on its social media channels. “After much consideration and a thorough evaluation of our financial situation, we have had to make the difficult decision to cease operations,” read the statement, signed by Penn Cove CEO Marc Aparicio.
