TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Florida State student from Jacksonville recalled helping one of the victims in Thursday's mass shooting on campus. Brett Reed, a sophomore at FSU, was in the student union finishing up some homework when he heard screaming. "I start walking up, my heart’s racing, I hear people just running, running, running. By the time I get over to the exit of the union, I start hearing bop, bop, bop," Reed explained. Reed said he started running and looking for cover.

PALATKA, Fla. — A sheriff's office in Florida is going viral for the way it is handling schools threats. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is now posting photos and videos of the students accused of making threats. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is making similar posts. Three airsoft guns were recovered from the home of an 11-year-old who was arrested Monday night for making a threat against the Putnam County Academy of Arts and Sciences.
