Florida ranks second in the country for the most child hot car deaths. Georgia has the fifth most deaths. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, along with city leaders and advocacy groups, held a demonstration Thursday showing just how hot it can get inside a car. A thermometer was hooked up to the inside of a car, and at one point, it read 125 degrees.
