The change proposed by the City Council Water Board affects more than 165,000 people. The current sewer rate comes out to $239 a year, or $19.92 per month. The event started at 9 a.m. on April 12 at Beach Park. Community members participated to raise awareness about the disease that anyone could get, including house pets.

(KGET) — The Kern County District Attorney’s Office said the decision to postpone the Victims’ Rights March was not made lightly and it’s because of construction delays for the new Victims of Violent Crime Memorial. “This memorial will serve as a tribute to victims,” said Cynthia Zimmer said in a Facebook post.
