    The Cardiff-bound train crashed into a trailer at a level crossing just north of Leominster, on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border, at about 10.40am on Thursday (May 22). The mainline was closed and all trains between Hereford and Craven Arms were cancelled for the rest of Thursday and much of today (Friday, May 23). One man was airlifted to hospital and a woman was conveyed by land ambulance. Neither were said to be seriously injured.

    Six people have been injured after a commuter train crashed into a tractor trailer at a level crossing near Leominster. A spokesperson said there were around 50 passengers on the train, and six injured casualties were being assessed by paramedics.

    The Transport for Wales train crashed into a tractor and trailer at a user-worked level crossing at Nordan, just north of Leominster on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border, at about 10.40am on Thursday (May 22). Six people were injured, fortunately not seriously. The West Midlands Ambulance Service said an air ambulance helicopter and five paramedic officers have attended. British Transport Police and West Mercia Police officers are also in attendance.
