The UF Board of Trustees is set to offer Dr. Santa Ono a 5-year employment contract starting June 4 with an annual base salary of $1.5 million. Former University President Ben Sasse received a base salary of $1 million.

Their building sits just feet from the stadium that many say is in need of repairs or replacement. The property was appraised earlier this year and VFW Post 2811 has a decision whether or not to sell. “I’ve had a lot of traumatic brain injuries, so my memory is not that great,” Jason Sanford told TV20.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - UF Health patients with United Healthcare should not see any increased costs passed on to them after a new agreement was reached. The new 18-month health insurance agreement has a built-in renewal and eliminates what UF Health says are administrative obstacles, including waiting on getting authorizations for certain procedures. “This is a great thing for the patients who have been calling us and wanting to be seen,” said Dr. Marvin Dewar, the CEO of UF Health Physicians.
