Dar es Salaam. The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Tanzania has announced the appointment of Augustino Mbogella to the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) Oversight Council. He becomes the sole representative from Africa on the eight-member body. Appointed by IIA Global in January for a three-year term, Mr Mbogella is the first Tanzanian to serve on the Council, which includes members from organisations such as the World Bank, INTOSAI, IFAC, GNDI, OECD, and IIA.
