AbstractMetabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is generally asymptomatic in the early stages but, without appropriate intervention, it can progress to severe liver morbidities. To elucidate the molecular mechanisms of early development of MASLD, we performed transcriptomic analysis on liver biopsies and metabolomic analysis on liver and plasma samples from 109 obese individuals with no liver pathology or early stages of MASLD.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first UK-wide study that used data at the small area level to look at inequalities in the amount of GS among neighbourhoods and the associations between levels of GS in urban areas and preventable deaths across levels of deprivation. Data on different parameters were sourced from various government public databases or directly from the national statistic agencies before linking with each other in order to create a robust dataset for secondary analysis.

AbstractThis study evaluates dosimetric differences in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) for lung tumors using plans of Gamma Knife, and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) plans based on Linear Accelerator, aiming to inform the reader of appropriate treatment strategy selection. Ten patients with 23 lung tumor lesions treated with SBRT at Zhongshan Hospital of Dalian University were analyzed.

In this study, we propose an end-to-end deep learning framework to investigate histological correlates of the two consensus molecular subtypes (CMS) of HPV-positive cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) patients.
