The rollout of body-worn video cameras for Police Scotland officers finally got underway in Dundee today. The service is the second largest in the UK after the Met but is the only one not to have the kit as standard equipment. Last year, Scots Tory leader Russell Findlay said the old Grampian Police had first trialled body-worn video in 2012 and described the delays as “unacceptable.” “It’s been a delay of more than 10 years,” he told MSPs last September.
