ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) have set up a physical location in Arnold to provide assistance to victims of the March 14 and May 16 tornadoes. The agencies are located in the gymnasium at St. David Catholic Church at 2334 Tenbrook Road in Arnold. “I think it’s a wonderful service for the people that need it,” said Arnold Mayor Bill Moritz.

BOURBON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Bourbon Cafe and Coffee Saloon is normally closed on Tuesdays, but opened for several hours to allow friends to gather and mourn the deaths of 65-year-old Jim Kelly and 64-year-old Midge Kelly. Michelle Reynolds Gray is co-owner of the cafe and was friends with the Kellys. “We opened the place for the community to come to talk and share stories and get together and just mourn and grieve,” she said.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The High Ridge Fire Protection District was called to Rockford Park around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday for a water rescue after receiving a report that two men were clinging to the rocks above the Big River and unable to return to shore. “When we arrived on scene, there was one individual still hanging on the rocks,” recalled Fire Chief John Barton.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - June 20th marks one year since Luke Nedved, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, underwent a heart transplant at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. It’s known as his one-year “heart-iversary.”Luke will turn 3-years-old on July 5th. His short life has been a long journey. He was born in Des Moines Iowa in July of 2022 with a congenital heart defect known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS).
