Two men have appeared in court charged with firearms offences. Officers previously revealed that a number of weapons, including a firearm and mobile phones, were seized by officers executing a warrant at a property on Crewe Road Gardens, Edinburgh, on Thursday, April 17, the Daily Record reports. Christopher Livingston Snr, 61, and Christopher Livingston Jnr, 41, were arrested and charged following the incident alongside a 17-year-old girl.

The bizarre moment a skip appears to be loaded onto a lorry before being stolen from a Scottish community club has been captured on CCTV. The alleged brazen theft has resulted in a police investigation after a man wearing a hard hat and high vis jacket can be seen inspecting the skip before moving a cone and loading it onto a lorry. The incident took place outside Valleyfield Community Club on Kinlaw Court, near Dumfermline, at around 7pm on Wednesday April 16.

Scots have been left howling with laughter after a Sir Rod Stewart lookalike, dubbed 'Road Stewart', was seen working on a highway. The rock legend's double was spotted decked out in high-vis gear next to a Highway Response vehicle earlier this month. The side of the road was cordoned off with traffic cones as the worker, sporting the iconic spiky blonde hair reminiscent of the 'Maggie May' singer, stood by looking bemused.
