Robert Hanna claims he can hear the rodents inside his walls and in the attic at his home in the city. A Glasgow dad says land around his house is sinking due to a massive rat infestation in the area. Robert Hanna, 45, says subsidence to his driveway and patio outside his home on Summerhill Road, Drumchapel, is being caused by rats tunnelling beneath his home. The dad claims that he is hearing rats in the walls, chimneys and attics, and some neighbours are suffering from the same problem.

A warning has been issued by Scottish Canals after ducklings were spotted swimming through filthy canal full of trolleys and rubbish. Visitors to a Scots canal are being urged to clean up after themselves after adorable ducklings were spotted swimming in water littered with plastic and shopping trolleys. The shocking images were taken on Monday, April 28 on the Forth and Clyde Canal near the Bandstand and Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank.

A dog walker says the rat problem at a popular Glasgow park is is “getting out of hand” after she caught “five or six” of the vermin on camera eating peanuts from bird feeders. Vicki Braham, who has lived in the west end for 30 years, says she has “never seen so many rats” in Kelvingrove Park and claims she is seeing them most days as summer approaches. Vicki spotted the disease-carrying pests “feasting” on peanuts knocked down from bird feeders in the park on Wednesday.
