PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Good Friday morning everyone!We had a couple showers pass through last night for PCB to PC and fading away in Mexico Beach on the coast. Bonifay, Chipley and Marianna had a quick passing shower before sunrise this morning as well. A cold front is moving through the Southeast today. The clouds brought on by the front this morning have quickly decreased in our skies. Sunshine returns in abundance for the day.

The gorgeous blue sky and sunshine will help warm up our day ahead. So, dress warm in layers out the door as you’ll shed the warmer outer layer by lunch. Temperatures warm into the low to mid 70s under the sunshine this afternoon.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Good Tuesday morning everyone!It was a chilly start for us in NWFL this morning with most waking up in the 40s. A light breeze added to the chill as well. We’ll see some chilly mornings ahead through the midweek. You’ll want to dress warmly in the mornings but doing so in layers as the sunshine brings some comfort to the afternoon. A wonderful sunny streak for most of this week helps warm afternoon temperatures, but we’ll mainly have a below average high for most days.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A line of thunderstorms this morning produced heavy rain, gusty winds, and maybe a brief isolated tornado between Greenwood and Malone in Jackson County this morning. The line of storms will march out of our region to the east by lunch, but we’ll still have some periodic light to moderate showers possible during the midday and afternoon. The rain completely heads out by sunset. Temperatures will be a bit wonky today.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Good Saturday night everyone!It’s been another windy day across NWFL and while winds back off slightly tonight, they’ll be back tomorrow. Winds may blow 20-30mph out of the south by midday and afternoon Sunday. Skies turn mostly cloudy tonight with some patchy fog, haze, or low clouds starting off the day on Sunday. It may look threatening at times for rain Sunday morning, but we’ll be quiet in the rain department until the afternoon and evening.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Good Friday morning everyone!We’ll all manage to get to partly to mostly sunny skies through the day ahead. Any of the fair weather clouds this afternoon have about a 1% chance at producing a brief light sprinkle. There’s a chance later today another marine layer of low clouds develops over the Gulf and moves onto the coastline at the end of the afternoon and into the evening. Windy conditions remain and will be a constant in the forecast until our pattern changes.

It’s very comfortable out this morning! Humidity is down and temperatures are mild in the low 70s. The sunshine will still bring some heat to the day ahead. But it should be a more tolerable heat thanks to lower humidity.

It’s a quiet start on satellite and radar this morning with mainly clear skies. We’ll be off to a sunny start and see quite a bit of sunshine throughout the day ahead. Dress comfortably for another hot day ahead, but not as extreme as earlier this week. Highs today reach up to near 93° on the coast to 95° inland with a heat index around 107° this afternoon.

We’ll be off to a mainly sunny start and see quite a bit of sunshine throughout the day ahead. Temperatures are warm and humid in the mid 70s inland to near 80 on the beaches. Dress comfortably for another toasty day ahead. Sunshine heats us up quickly to the mid 80s by mid-morning.
