Brockton High School's football team will play Catholic Memorial, the defending Division 2 state champion, in its 2025 season. The game will take place on October 3rd at Marciano Stadium in Brockton. Brockton has a 6-2 record against Catholic Memorial in their last eight meetings. Brockton's 2025 schedule also includes games against North Attleboro, Weymouth, and other top teams. Brockton high school football has scheduled one of the state's top programs for its upcoming 2025 regular season.

Silver Lake defeated Bedford 4-0 to win the MIAA Division 2 state softball championship. Delaney Moquin hit a two-run home run and pitched a 12-strikeout shutout for Silver Lake. Moquin's home run came off Bedford pitcher Alyx Rossi, the Massachusetts Gatorade Softball Player of the Year. This is Silver Lake's first state title in program history.
