Angel City FC’s Savy King underwent a procedure to address a heart abnormality on Tuesday, just days after she collapsed on the field during a match, the team announced. The abnormality was discovered after King went down late during the club’s 2-0 win over the Utah Royals on Friday night. The 20-year-old fell suddenly in the 74th minute of the match at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. She received medical attention on the field before she was taken off on a cart and transported to a local hospital.
