PITKIN COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) – Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) says they have "lethally removed" a gray wolf from Pitkin County after ranchers reported multiple attacks on their livestock. According to CPW, the wolf, which was a member of the Copper Creek pack, was euthanized on Thursday, May 29. Wildlife officials say the decision to lethally remove the wolf followed CPW’s confirmation of four separate livestock attacks between May 17 and 25.
