National Industrial Court has berated Olalekan Onafeko, suspended Clerk of the Lagos State House of Assembly, for resorting to self-help. It said it never ordered the reinstatement of Onafeko as reported by a section of the media. The reports had said that Onafeko was ordered to resume, leading to the claimant storming the House and taking over the office of the acting Clerk, Taiwo Ottun.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has accused two television stations – Africa Independent Television (AIT) of DAAR Communications Plc, and Channels Television – of allegedly airing false, defamatory, and malicious reports against its activities. The service said the false reports were based on the presence of its personnel at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday.
