But growth around Houston is not spread evenly, according to a Houston Chronicle analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data. In fact, many Houston neighborhoods are losing residents. In Houston's East End, for example, many of the city's historically Latino neighborhoods have seen a drop in population, even as new housing continues to be built.
