    SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - A teacher at Sumter High School has been charged in connection with a series of inappropriate text messages with a student. The Sumter Police Department (SPD) said Torey Shannon, 42, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The charges followed after Sumter County School officials heard about allegations of inappropriate texts between a teacher and a student.
