1 INTRODUCTION Methamphetamine use increased globally in the last two decades despite multiple strategies to prevent its production and reduce consumer demand [1, 2]. While past year methamphetamine use has remained stable in Australia, declining somewhat from its peak at 3.4% in 2001, methamphetamine-related harm has continued to escalate due to increasing use of crystalline and higher potency forms of the drug [3].
