COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Tonight, Texas A&M University is on the hunt for its newest head coach. In a surprise announcement Sunday morning, the University announced the firing of former head coach Jimbo Fisher. Even after six years of leading the Aggies football program, Texas A&M never won ten games in a season during Fisher's tenure. Even with , it wasn't enough to save Fisher after six seasons of mixed results and a nine-game losing streak many saw his termination as inevitable.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The College Station Fire Department responded to a call about a structure fire at the Southgate Apartment earlier this afternoon. When firefighters arrived on scene they found one apartment with fire in it. According to the acting College Station Fire Department Battalion Chief, everyone was evacuated immediately, all residents and pets were accounted for, and no one was injured.
