The city of Fort Myers is using ChatGPT for a lot more tasks now. "I had ChatGPT help me create the agenda item that purchased the enterprise upgrade to ChatGPT," said Richard Calkins, IT Director for the city of Fort Myers. Saharan dust is making its way to our Gulf Coast. So, what is it? “The Saharan air layer is basically what you, what it sounds like. It's an air mass that originates in the Sahara Desert of Africa, the biggest desert on the planet,” said Gulf Coast News meteorologist Rob Duns. As the dust gets closer to us, it’s not right at eye level. “It actually travels at a height of sometimes upwards of a mile in the air. It's a problem we're seeing right now on our Gulf Coast, especially in Cape Coral.

A Buc-ees is being proposed right off Interstate 75 in Charlotte County, but not everyone is happy about it. “I have nothing against Buc-ees, but I just, it does not belong there,” said neighbor Rebecca Scholl. “This is just not the place for it. It's not the land for it. I'm sure Southwest Florida would welcome a Buc-ees, it's just not here,” said neighbor Drema Doolittle. Neighbors of the Harbour Heights community said the newly proposed Buc-ees is not the right fit for their neighborhood.
