Daniel Rosen, of Rosen LLC, arose as Trump's choice as the next U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota on Wednesday. A U.S. district judge has ordered the release of a Minnesota State University student from Bangladesh who was detained in late March by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, determining that he was targeted for his social media posts. Mohammed Hoque, 20, had been held in the Freeborn County jail in Albert Lea since his arrest March 28 in front of his parents while returning to his Mankato home from a coding class.

Said Shafii Farah was one of five people charged, along with his two brothers, in the juror bribery case last year. He pleaded not guilty last year to three federal charges but will change his plea at a hearing May 14.
